AirScalp can monitor without permission to purchase. A booking attempt becomes possible only after a user selects an action mode, defines limits, and explicitly enables the rule.
Because AirScalp is in beta, this page describes the product boundaries we are building toward. Final provider support and controls may change before an invitation is issued.
Monitoring is not purchase authorization
A saved route can run in alert-only mode. Adding a target price or receiving an alert does not authorize AirScalp to charge a card. Automatic action must be enabled for a specific rule with a hard maximum and a valid payment method.
Hard limits before action
Every booking-enabled rule should have a clear itinerary and total-price boundary. Before attempting a transaction, the system rechecks the route, dates, passengers, cabin, stops, availability, and price against the saved rule. A failed condition stops the action.
Users can pause or disable an active rule. A one-purchase stop prevents the same rule from continuing after a confirmed booking.
API and payment access
Beta users provide their own supported flight-data API key. The key is intended only for the connected provider and the monitoring or booking workflow the user activates.
A saved payment method is required only for purchase-enabled rules. AirScalp will document the payment provider and storage model available to invited beta users before card entry. Do not send a card number, password, or API key through the public contact or early-access form.
Auditability
Monitoring and booking automation should be explainable. The planned audit trail shows when a rule ran, which candidate matched, why another candidate was skipped, whether an alert or approval was sent, and what happened during an attempted action.

What AirScalp cannot guarantee
AirScalp cannot guarantee a fare, seat, schedule, airline operation, or successful booking. Inventory and totals may change during checkout. Airlines and booking providers control ticket issuance, schedule changes, refunds, and fare rules.
