What is AirScalp?
AirScalp is an AI flight price tracker. You save a trip and rules, AirScalp monitors supported fare data, and it alerts you when the complete rule matches. Optional booking actions are available only when explicitly enabled.
Is AirScalp a ticket-resale marketplace?
No. AirScalp is designed to monitor and book travel for the passenger named in the rule. It does not resell or transfer airline tickets.
What is the difference between a target and a hard maximum?
The target is the fare you hope to find. The hard maximum is the total the booking workflow must not exceed. A price refresh above the hard maximum stops the action.
Does AirScalp always book automatically?
No. A rule can be alert only, approval required, or automatic. Monitoring by itself is not purchase authorization.
Why do beta users provide an API key?
The flights-first beta uses supported third-party fare data. Users provide their own key so provider access and usage remain tied to their account. Supported providers and setup requirements will be listed in each invitation.
Do I need to save a card?
Only if you enable a purchase workflow. A public early-access or contact form will never ask for a card number.
Can AirScalp guarantee a price?
No. Fares and inventory change quickly. A booking is complete only after the airline or provider confirms it.
How much does beta cost?
The planned beta subscription is $99 per year. Airfare, taxes, fees, optional services, and third-party API usage are separate.
Who is AirScalp for?
It is best for travelers who repeatedly watch a route, have flexible dates or airports, and can describe an acceptable trip with a clear price ceiling.
What happens if a fare changes during checkout?
AirScalp revalidates the itinerary and price. If a required condition fails or the total rises above the hard maximum, the workflow should stop and record the reason.
